Black Beach Studio (“Black Beach Studio,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use reclaim, an Android application available through the Google Play Store.
reclaim is designed to help users reduce unintentional or excessive scrolling within supported social media applications.
1. Our Approach to Privacy
reclaim is designed to operate locally on your device.
Black Beach Studio does not collect, transmit, sell, share, or store personal information or user activity from reclaim.
You are not required to create an account to use reclaim.
Information accessed by reclaim for its core functionality is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to Black Beach Studio or stored on our servers.
2. AccessibilityService
reclaim uses Android's AccessibilityService API as a core part of its functionality.
The AccessibilityService allows reclaim to recognize activity within supported applications so that it can identify relevant scrolling behavior and provide the app's intended intervention when scrolling becomes unintentional.
Depending on what is displayed on your device, Android's AccessibilityService may technically provide reclaim with access to information about the interface or activity occurring within a supported application.
reclaim uses this access only to provide its core functionality.
Specifically:

Accessibility information is processed locally on your device.

Black Beach Studio does not receive or store information accessed through AccessibilityService.

Information accessed through AccessibilityService is not transmitted to external servers.

Information accessed through AccessibilityService is not sold or shared with advertisers, data brokers, analytics providers, or other third parties.

AccessibilityService is not used for advertising, profiling, or tracking users across apps or services.
reclaim does not use AccessibilityService to circumvent Android privacy or security controls or to perform unrelated actions on your behalf.
Users must voluntarily enable AccessibilityService access through Android's system settings. Users may disable that access at any time through their device settings.
3. Other Device Permissions
reclaim does not request access to other device permissions for purposes such as:

reclaim's functionality relies on AccessibilityService as described above.
4. Information We Collect
Black Beach Studio does not collect personal information through reclaim.

Because reclaim does not require an account, we do not maintain user profiles associated with the app.
5. Local Processing and Data Storage
Information used by reclaim to perform its functionality is processed locally on the user's device.
Black Beach Studio does not maintain a database of reclaim users or their activity.
Any app settings or information necessary for reclaim to function that are stored locally on the user's device remain on that device and are not transmitted to Black Beach Studio.
Users can remove locally stored app information by clearing reclaim's app data or uninstalling reclaim from their device.
6. Third-Party Software and SDKs
reclaim may incorporate third-party software libraries, development frameworks, or software development kits (“SDKs”) used in the creation, operation, compatibility, or maintenance of the application.
Black Beach Studio does not intentionally use third-party SDKs within reclaim for advertising, behavioral tracking, user profiling, or the collection of personal information.
Third-party components included in reclaim are intended only to support the technical operation and development of the application and are configured, where applicable, so that reclaim's use of those components does not result in Black Beach Studio collecting or storing personal user data.
Black Beach Studio is responsible for reviewing the third-party components included in reclaim and for updating this Privacy Policy if those components cause reclaim's data practices to change.
7. Google Play and Purchases
reclaim is distributed exclusively through the Google Play Store.
The purchase of reclaim is handled entirely by Google through Google Play.
Black Beach Studio does not directly collect or process your payment card number, banking information, or other payment credentials through reclaim.
Google may collect and process information relating to your Google Play account, purchase, device, or transaction in accordance with Google's own privacy policies and terms.
There are no additional in-app purchases offered through reclaim.
8. Analytics and Advertising
reclaim does not use user activity for advertising or behavioral profiling.
Black Beach Studio does not sell reclaim user information to third parties.
Black Beach Studio does not use information obtained through AccessibilityService for advertising, analytics, or marketing purposes.
9. Data Sharing
Because Black Beach Studio does not collect reclaim user activity or personal information through the app, we do not share such information with third parties.
Information processed locally through AccessibilityService remains on the user's device and is not provided to Black Beach Studio.
10. Data Retention and Deletion
Black Beach Studio does not retain personal information or user activity from reclaim on its servers because this information is not collected.
Any settings or information stored locally by reclaim can be removed by:

Clearing reclaim's storage or app data through Android settings; or

Uninstalling reclaim from the device.
Because no reclaim account is created and Black Beach Studio does not maintain a database of reclaim users, there is no server-side reclaim account or user activity history to delete.

11. Children's Privacy
reclaim is intended for a general audience.
Black Beach Studio does not knowingly collect personal information from children or adults through reclaim.
Because reclaim does not require an account and does not transmit user activity to Black Beach Studio, we do not use information to identify the age of individual users.
Users should comply with any applicable Google Play age requirements, parental controls, and applicable laws when purchasing or using reclaim.
12. Security
reclaim is designed to minimize privacy and security risks by keeping its core processing on the user's device rather than transmitting user activity to Black Beach Studio.
No method of software operation or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. However, limiting the collection and transmission of user information reduces the amount of personal information handled by Black Beach Studio.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to reclaim, applicable law, Google Play requirements, or our privacy practices.
If we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
If reclaim's data collection, sharing, or AccessibilityService practices materially change, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
